Inflation is really low right now, so I think that's a great idea. I mean, I don't mind paying $5 for a gallon of milk... or gasoline, for that matter. Continuing to bail out corporations and the American consumer are only going to lead to more inflation and more debt. We should have to make choices. We're not entitled to everything we want. On the bright side, foreign investors are having a heyday buying up U.S. property and businesses due to the dollar being in the toilet. On the downside, it doesn't seem like there's much we can do as everyday citizens. Or can we? Great idea: pump more money into the economy. The FED has carte blanche to print as much money as they want. There are no precious metal reserves backing our currency. Everyone could be a millionaire and there would be no more hunger, bankruptcy, or late mortgage payments. Congress could pass a bill outlawing inflation too. Everybody wins, no?
