Fallen Leaves – The Jewish Museum of Berlin

10,000 iron faces cover an open floor representing the painful loss of those in the past. However, like the leaves of a tree during the Fall, the trees come back to vibrant life in Spring and thus, this artwork brings focus to painful past, in hopes of remembering that a bright future is ahead.

The Angel of the North – Newcastle, England

 Built a top an old coal mine, The Angel of the North reminds us of the work done in the dark below, whilst embracing the light from above, blending its focus on the hopes and fears of those who see it.
